Fast trip to town

: Matt’s knife driven into the ridge pole.

: Flying back to camp was the best part of the two days.

I was drawn back to the town of Kodiak to make some decisions about our house. Our son-in-law, Matt, was doing some roof work and found rot. In less than 48 hours, I decided to reroof the house (no choice) removed most of the items from the living areas to a back bedroom, ordered new appliances and countertop for the kitchen. Then I left the repair/remodel in Matt’s capable hands and flew back to camp.
